It was rather cold overnight dropping to 2 deg C and climbing to a ‘high’ of 7 deg C today! Brrr!
Nonetheless I decided to set off to Mt Aspiring, some 50km away – with 35km of which is on gravel road. It was not the greatest of days with lots of cloud cover and a touch of rain, but I had the full-frame camera, a 360 camera, the drone and my trusty iPhone, with me.
To say it is a stunning location is an understatement. I only walked an hour in each direction due to a blister on my left heel (new boots), but it was very dramatic.
The picture below is only from an iPhone (mini panorama) as I crossed a swingbridge there, but the scenery was pretty spectacular.
