Let me say at the outset that there is no chance that I will photograph this same shot every day…
But, that said, with my zoom lens knackered and currently out for repair and a 10,000 ft (almost) Mount Aspiring viewable from my lounge window, it struck me that I need to get some snaps of it (with or without the good zoom)!
Hence I’m going to put up some daily pictures as I capture it in it’s different guises (it is Autumn / Fall here in the South Island of New Zealand). So snow is heading this way.

The view from my lounge seat:

Through the curtain windows

Last shot on the Canon zoom (in for repair)

Sunrise just hitting the 10,000 ft peak

Captured just with the sun setting behind it.

Also from the 16/5, but the weather was (is) crap over the next few days, so here is a snap from the Lake’s edge.
* note the mist / steam rising from the creek.

The weather has not been playing the game recently. This is as close as I got to a picture of it. Note how much more snow there is on the mountain.

The sun is out again today, things look amazing – a fair bit of snow has been dumped on it (shot on Canon L lens).
