This project is dedicated to my parents Jackie and Maurice who lived in Te Aroha for almost 20 years and called it home.
They are now in St Margarets care home in Te Atatu, Auckland – where the bad COVID-19 outbreak occurred, which sadly resulted in the loss of life of a couple of the residents.
They raised me to be a good Kiwi and it completely filled me with pride to be a Kiwi to see the 100’s & 100’s of Bears & Friends that everyone had put up at their homes. It was amazing to see and I hope the kids everywhere were pleased to see all our little furry friends on display all around the town.
I think my parents would like this (2024: both deceased now)…
